 Description
Reorder standing order stock items in accordance with established minimum and maximum stock levels, projected usage and estimated date of delivery.

Verify receipt of stock ordered, reconciling any discrepancies on invoices with vendors; compute unit prices for stock received and record all receipt and pricing information on inventory record cards.

Write issue tickets when required; record stock issued from stock issue tickets on inventory record cards; record stock issue ticket information into log book; prepare batch headers of stock issue tickets for data conversion.

Reconcile inventory record cards with warehouse reports of stock on hand annually and periodically, making appropriate adjustments for loss and gain of actual inventory.

Type new inventory record cards, answer telephone, take messages, transfer calls, route and reroute mail.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
