Position –Netbackup Storage Specialist

Job Specific Skills Required:

• Require Storage Backup Administrator having experience on Veritas Netbackup 3.4, 4.5, 5.0, (good to have exp on 6.0 ) for a Very Large Production Support in 24 X 7 Operation which involves shift working.
• Must have Experience on Installation, up gradation and maintenance of Veritas netbackup on Unix platforms, preferably Solaris.
• The candidate must be having good knowledge of SAN & NAS;zoning, Lun Masking, Good understanding of Unix (Preferably Solaris & Linux ) and Window operating system.
• Should be conversant with Veritas Volumer Manager , disk group plexes, volumes etc.
• Experience in supporting Storagetek, SUN, ADIC, IBM Tape Libraries.is essential.
• Must have worked on Creating policies, creating policy based backup jobs, troubleshooting scheduled job failures, Restoration from old backups at regular intervals, Managing devices and drive pools , adding drives to a drive pool etc.
• Experience on other backup softwares EMC-Legato Networker, Tivoli, Omniback will be an added advantage.
• Fundamental knowledge on RDBMS and Operating System must.
• Knowledge of Unix scripting will be an added advantage.
• Must have good communication skills.
